What to choose for which job
- Ploughing: the REV1 reversible plough has two bodies and always turns the furrow to one side. Working depth 150–200 mm. You turn at the end of the row next to the same furrow and switch the share angle with a selector on the frame.
- Mounting and adjusting the plough: the TS103 screw hitch with drop lets you set the plough square to the ground while the tractor runs offset with one wheel in the furrow. It also takes ridgers, spreaders and other mounted tools.
- Traction: CG wheel weights add load to the wheels when ploughing. CG 10 kg is two 5 kg discs (Ø 260 mm, 60 mm thick); CG 20 kg is two 10 kg discs (Ø 325 mm, 70 mm). They fit a 4 × 110 mm bolt pattern.
- Turning: the EasyTurn CRT280 shaft lets a wheel make one free revolution without loading the gearbox, which makes turning on hard ground easier. Half-axle length 9 cm, sold as a pair.

How to build a ploughing set
For ploughing you need three things: a plough, a hitch and good traction. The simplest set-up for a WEIMA or RURIS tractor is the REV1 on a TS103 hitch plus steel wheels from wheels and axles. If the wheels slip on heavy, wet soil, add CG weights: start with 10 kg on a lighter tractor and choose 20 kg for a heavier one or for clay. Before ordering weights, check that your tractor's hub has a 4 × 110 mm bolt pattern.
Common mistakes
- Plough set too deep: the tractor spins and the furrow does not turn. Start shallower and increase gradually.
- No offset: without a correctly set hitch the plough runs at an angle and the furrow is uneven.
- Towing a trailer on slopes over 10° or on public roads: RURIS trailers are not designed for this.
