Jansen sweepers for yards, sites and driveways
A sweeper picks up leaves, sand, mud and light snow faster than a broom and without the strain. This section has three types of Jansen machines: MKB-500 self-propelled petrol sweepers that you walk behind, JK-130 and JK-200 tractor sweepers powered by the carrier's hydraulics, and the WKB-70 weed brush. There is also the J16 brush for Jansen MGT two-wheel tractors.
How to choose a sweeper
- No tractor, small or medium property: the Jansen MKB-500E or MKB-500BS. 100 cm wide, own engine, collection bin and snow blade included. The manufacturer states about 4,400 m²/h.
- You own a Jansen MGT or a Cedrus, BCS, Grillo or Pasquali two-wheel tractor: the 100 cm J16 brush driven by the PTO.
- Large yards, farms, private roads: the Jansen JK-130 or JK-200. They need a carrier with hydraulics: a double-acting valve and at least 20 l/min.
- Weeds in paving and along kerbs: the WKB-70 weed brush with steel brushes on a Euro mount.
- Mounting: JK sweepers fit a Euro mount, a Cat. I/II three-point hitch and pallet forks, so they work with a tractor, forklift, wheel loader or Hoftrac.

Use and common mistakes
- Too much brush pressure. The brush should only touch the surface. Support wheels set too low wear the bristles quickly.
- Wet leaves and mud in the bin. Empty it more often, a heavy load strains the machine. JK sweepers can also work without the bin.
- Too little hydraulic flow. Below 20 l/min the JK and WKB-70 brushes turn too slowly. Check the carrier's pump data before buying.
- Winter: sweepers handle light, fresh snow well. For deep or packed snow a snow thrower is better, see how to choose a petrol snow thrower.
Delivery and assembly
Jansen sweepers arrive in a wooden crate or steel frame and you assemble them yourself. According to the manufacturer, the MKB-500BS takes about 30 minutes, the MKB-500E about an hour and JK sweepers 1–2 hours. Before the first start of an MKB, add engine oil (about 1 l, 10W40 or 15W40). We ship by courier across Poland, with free delivery from 999 zł.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the MKB-500BS and MKB-500E?
The MKB-500BS has a 5 hp Briggs & Stratton 750EX engine and recoil start. The MKB-500E has a 6.5 hp engine and electric start with a battery. Width (100 cm), bin and snow blade are the same.
What carrier do the JK-130 and JK-200 need?
A tractor, forklift, wheel loader or Hoftrac with a Euro mount, Cat. I/II hitch or forks, and hydraulics with one double-acting valve and at least 20 l/min of flow.
Is the side broom included with JK sweepers?
No. It is a right-side add-on sold separately, with a dedicated model for the JK-130 and for the JK-200.
What is the WKB-70 for?
Removing weeds and moss from paving joints, kerbs and paths. It has 22 replaceable steel brushes and needs a 12 V socket for the solenoid valve.
I have a WEIMA two-wheel tractor. Which brush fits?
For the WEIMA WM1000N-6 there is a dedicated brush in sweepers for two-wheel tractors.
