A snow blade (snow plough) mounts on the front of a machine and pushes snow to the side of a drive or yard. This section offers Jansen blades for machines you may already own: the MGT-600E two-wheel tractor, RD tracked dumpers and the MSK-800X electric power barrow. That way one machine hauls loads in summer and clears snow in winter.
How to choose a snow blade
- Compatibility: each blade only fits the models listed. Check the exact model of your dumper or two-wheel tractor.
- Width: it should be wider than the machine, so the wheels or tracks run on the cleared strip.
- Control: on the RD-600 the blade is raised with the tipping control, on the MSK-800X with a lever on the dump body.
- Snow type: a blade works best on fresh, fairly shallow snow. For heavy drifts a snow blower that throws snow is the better tool.

Fitting and use
The RD-600 blade fits the dumper in a few steps and is raised and lowered with the tipping control. The MSK-800X blade attaches to the chassis below the dump body. Jansen notes that for the RD-200, RD-300 and RD-500 blade, two extra holes must be drilled in the dump body before first use. Clear snow in a low gear and do not hit kerbs at speed, as the impact goes straight into the mounting. You will find the dumpers under Jansen dumpers and more winter equipment under snow clearing.
Frequently asked questions
Does the RD-200 blade fit the RD-600?
No. The RD-600 and RD-600S have their own blade. The RD-200 blade fits the RD-200, RD-300, RD-300S and RD-500.
Does the J18 blade fit other two-wheel tractors?
Jansen lists the MGT-420 and MGT-600E as well as Cedrus, BCS, Grillo and Pasquali tractors with the same type of coupling.
