A trailer turns a two-wheel tractor into a small transport vehicle: you can move potatoes, fertiliser bags, firewood or soil around the farm, and the operator rides on a seat instead of walking behind the machine. This section has three RURIS box trailers with a tipping function and the lightweight Navigator 99 sulky seat.
How to choose a trailer
- Payload: 450 kg for small loads, 550 kg for crops and sacks, 750 kg with mesh side extensions for larger volumes.
- Tractor power: the heavier the load, the stronger the tractor and brakes you need. For the 750S choose a more powerful model, for example from RURIS petrol tractors.
- Hitch: according to the product pages the pin hole is 16.7 mm, the hitch outer diameter 32.3 mm and the mounting height 59.3 mm. Compare these with your tractor's hitch.
- Use: the trailers are not approved for public roads and must not be used on slopes steeper than 10°. Towing speed up to 15 km/h.

All three box trailers have a hinged frame for tipping, leaf springs, a seat with a lockable box and a loading height of about 50 cm. The Navigator 99 is a light two-wheel sulky with a sprung seat and a mechanical lift; according to its product page it works with ploughs, ridgers and potato diggers, among others. Frequently asked questions
Will the trailer fit any two-wheel tractor?
The 450S page states it fits all types of two-wheel tractors; the 550S and 750S pages say most models. Check the hitch dimensions above.
Can I drive on public roads with it?
No. The manufacturer states that the trailers are not approved for road use.
Do RURIS trailers tip for unloading?
Yes, the 450S, 550S and 750S have a hinged frame and work as tippers.
How is the Navigator 99 different from a regular trailer?
It is a light sulky with a seat and a 100 kg payload, mainly for riding while working with attachments rather than for hauling large loads.
