Snow blowers, sweepers and attachments for winter clearing
This section brings together everything for clearing snow and sweeping a yard: self-propelled petrol snow blowers from WEIMA, self-propelled Jansen MKB-500 sweepers with a snow plough, attachments for two-wheel tractors, and hydraulic Jansen sweepers for tractors, loaders and forklifts.
How to choose a snow blower
- Clearing width and intake height. The WEIMA WXS0722A clears a 56 cm path, the SW600 60 cm and the WWS0724BE 61 cm with a 53.5 cm intake height, which helps with deep drifts.
- Two-stage system. The WXS0722A, WWS0724BE and SW600 have a two-stage 30 cm auger. The auger breaks up the snow and the impeller throws it through the chute up to 12 m, so they handle wet and packed snow.
- Engine and starting. The larger models have 212 cc petrol engines rated at 7 HP. Besides the recoil starter, the WWS0724BE has an electric starter, a lamp and heated grips. The smallest SD180 has a 99 cc, 3 HP engine and throws up to 9 m, suitable for a short driveway and a path.
- Drive. The 7 HP models are self-propelled with several forward gears and two reverse gears, so you do not have to push them.

The WEIMA SW600 is a 2-in-1 machine: a two-stage snow blower plus a 350 mm brush for fresh snow. The Jansen MKB-500 sweepers have 3 forward gears, 1 reverse and 6 brush speeds. Light snow is swept with the brush alone; for more than 3–5 cm you fit the included plough without tools. A waste container is also included.
Attachments for two-wheel tractors and the dumper
- Jansen 100 cm snow blower module for Jansen MGT-420 and MGT-600E and for Cedrus, BCS, Grillo and Pasquali machines: 30 cm auger, chute rotates 190° and tilts 70°, throw up to 10 m.
- Jansen J16 100 cm sweeper for the same tractors, PTO-driven, with a 50 cm drum and three locking angle positions.
- Sweeper for the WEIMA WM1000N-6, 600 mm wide, PTO-driven, for snow, leaves and dust.
- Plough for the Jansen MSK-800X dumper (120 × 80 × 40 cm, 49 kg), mounted under the load bed, raised by a lever and angled left or right by hand.
Jansen hydraulic sweepers for tractors and loaders
The Jansen JK-130 and JK-200 have a 48 cm brush and a working width of 130 or 200 cm. They mount via a Euro hitch, a CAT 1+2 three-point linkage or pallet forks. They need one double-acting valve and an oil flow of at least 20 l/min. The dirt container (105 l on the JK-130, 160 l on the JK-200) is emptied hydraulically. The sweepers pick up dirt and light snow. An optional right-hand side brush of about 55 cm cleans along kerbs; it only fits Jansen JK sweepers. The section also has the Jansen WKB-70 hydraulic weed brush (70 cm, steel wire, Euro hitch, 20–90 l/min flow, 12 V supply for the valve).
Jansen delivery: the machines arrive in a crate, partly disassembled. You assemble them yourself, usually in 0.5–2 hours depending on the model, and the manual is in German. Before the first start of an MKB-500 sweeper, top up the engine oil as described in the manual.
Operation: things to remember
- Clear snow while it is fresh. Packed or icy snow needs a lower gear and several passes.
- Point the chute downwind and never at people, windows or cars.
- Clear a blocked chute only with the engine off and with the clean-out tool, never by hand.
- Use 95 octane petrol and SAE 5W-30 oil in WEIMA snow blowers. Check the oil level and tyre pressure before the season.

Frequently asked questions
Which snow blower suits the driveway of a family house?
For a typical driveway, the two-stage WEIMA WXS0722A with a 56 cm path is enough. If you prefer push-button starting and work after dark, choose the WWS0724BE with electric starter and lamp.
Can a sweeper handle snow?
Light fresh snow, yes. The Jansen MKB-500 uses the included plough for more than 3–5 cm of snow. According to the manufacturer, the hydraulic JK-130 and JK-200 sweep dirt and light snow.
What does a Jansen JK hydraulic sweeper need?
A carrier vehicle with a Euro hitch, CAT 1+2 linkage or forks, one double-acting valve and a pump delivering at least 20 l/min.
Will the snow attachments fit my two-wheel tractor?
The Jansen 100 cm module and sweeper fit the Jansen MGT-420, MGT-600E and Cedrus, BCS, Grillo and Pasquali machines. The WEIMA sweeper fits the WM1000N-6 only. For another model, call us and we will check the mounting.
