Diesel and a differential make a good pair for anyone working heavier soil and covering a lot of ground. This page has the WEIMA WM1100BE-6 DIFF two-wheel tractor with a 9 hp WM186FBE diesel engine, two bundles built on it, and a differential for WM1100 models. Why a diesel with a differential
A diesel engine generally copes better with long, steady work under load and burns less fuel per hour than a petrol one – a general rule we cover in the guide petrol or diesel. The differential adds easier turning: the wheels can rotate at different speeds, so a 135 kg machine does not tear the turf at the end of a row. The DIFF version has a differential with a release, operated by cables and levers.

What to look at when choosing
Power and fuel type
On paper the 9 hp diesel is weaker than the 13–16 hp petrol models of the same WM1100 family, but it works differently. If you need maximum power, see the petrol models with a differential. If long runs and fuel economy matter, the diesel makes sense.
Weight and width
At 135 kg it is heavier than the 120 kg petrol WM1100s, which helps in cultivation but makes transport and loading harder. The 4 × (3+1+1) tines give a working width of up to 165 cm, wider than the 135 cm of the petrol models.
Bundles instead of single items
For ploughing, hilling and digging potatoes there is a plough and hiller bundle on the WM1100BE-6. For mowing and loosening soil there is an active bundle with a mower and tiller. The rest of the WEIMA range is in the WEIMA section.
Differential sold separately
The WEIMA differential with a 32 mm axle fits tractors of the WM1100 family, including the WM1100BE-6 DIFF. Check the model and version on the data plate before buying.
First start
The tractor is supplied without engine and gearbox oil. You need about 2.5 l of gear oil and 1.75 l of engine oil (data from the model page). Fill the oil before the first start.
Frequently asked questions
Is a diesel with a differential a good choice for a small garden?
Usually not: it is a 135 kg machine with a working width of up to 165 cm. A lighter petrol model is enough for a small garden.
How do Classic and Prestige differ?
In the technical data on both pages the engine, gearbox and weight are the same. For differences in equipment check the product page or ask us by phone.
Can I pick attachments separately?
Yes. The tractor works with passive tools (plough, hiller) and active ones (tiller, mower). Bundles cost less than the same items bought separately.
