An electric starter is a button or key instead of pulling a cord. On a two-wheel tractor with a 13–16 hp engine you feel the difference straight away, especially if you are older, starting a cold engine or working in winter. This page collects WEIMA WM1100FE-6 models with recoil and electric start, plus two bundles with attachments on the 16 hp version. All petrol tractors are in petrol two-wheel tractors.
Who benefits from electric start
- Older users and anyone with back or wrist problems – no hard yanking on the cord of a big engine.
- When the engine is stopped often – while mowing, turning with a cart, clearing snow or swapping tools.
- In winter – a cold engine is harder to start; electric start saves effort (a general conclusion, not manufacturer data).
The recoil starter stays as a backup, so the tractor will start even with a flat battery. Whether a battery is included, check the product page or ask before buying: +48 780 140 444.
Electric start models
All have a differential, a 4-forward, 2-reverse gearbox with PTO, 4 × (2+1+1) tines, 800–1350 mm working width and a weight of 120 kg.

How to choose
13 or 16 hp
13 hp is enough for a garden and a field of a few hundred square metres; 16 hp gives reserve power with a plough, powered tiller and mower. Details are in the guide how to choose a two-wheel tractor.
Bundle or the tractor alone
The bundle with plough, hiller and potato digger lets you plough, hill and dig potatoes. The active bundle is the WMBF-6 tiller and the WMKM1100-6 rotary mower. The tractor alone is a good choice if you already own attachments.
Versions without electric start
If you do not need electric start, smaller models with recoil start are on the page tractors with a differential or in the WEIMA section.
Before the first start
The tractors come without engine and gearbox oil. The gearbox takes 2.3–2.5 l and the engine 1.2 l (per the model data). Add oil before you press start.
Frequently asked questions
Will a tractor with electric start run without a battery?
Yes, the recoil starter remains on each of these models. The electric one needs a charged battery.
Does electric start add power?
No, it is a convenience at start-up, not extra horsepower. Power depends on the engine: 13 or 16 hp.
Are there electric start models below 13 hp?
Not on this page. The smaller WEIMA tractors with 7–8 hp engines have recoil start.
