RURIS petrol two-wheel tractors
RURIS is a Romanian maker of garden and farm machinery. This category holds its petrol tillers and two-wheel tractors: from light 7 hp models for gardens and orchards, through sets with ready-matched implements, up to 13–18 hp machines that pull a trailer with up to 1000 kg of load. The RURIS C977 is listed here too, a 16 hp motocultivator with a differential.
How to choose a RURIS model
- 6500FR, 7000FR, 7500FR (7 hp). 208–212 cc engine, belt-and-chain drive, 2 forward and 1 reverse gear, tilling depth up to 290 mm. The 6500FR works a 780–870 mm strip, the 7000FR and 7500FR 560–830 mm. The maker intends them for gardens, orchards, greenhouses and vineyards.
- 732ACC (8.5 hp). 560–830 mm width, up to 340 mm depth, 600–1000 m²/h according to the maker. The Easy Control gear shift uses a lever system, so you do not have to engage the gears by hand. We sell it as a set with plough, ridger, potato digger, wheels and wheel weights.
- 913ACC, 915K/915ACC, 918K/918ACC (13–18 hp). General Engine units of 390–460 cc, 750–1100 mm tillers, up to 360 mm depth and over 1500 m²/h. The bevel-gear transmission lets them pull a trailer with up to 1000 kg of load. The choice for larger plots, heavy soil and hauling.
- C977 (16 hp). Loncin 420 cc engine, 3 forward and 2 reverse gears, dry clutch, differential and key start. Sold with a tiller, or with tiller, finger-bar mower and plough.
If the machine will mostly loosen soil in a garden, a 7 hp model is enough. For ploughing, lifting potatoes and trailer work, pick the 9xx series: a heavier, more powerful machine does not spin in the furrow.

Implements and oils
ACC sets save you matching implements: the plough, ridger and wheel weights already fit the tractor. Wheel weights add grip when ploughing, so the machine spins less on wet soil. RURIS four-stroke engines take engine oil such as Grünwelt SAE 10W-30, and the gearbox takes gear oil such as Grünwelt SAE 80W-90; check quantities and change intervals in the manual. For example, the maker gives 1.2 l of engine oil and 1.3 l of transmission oil for the C977. Things to watch at work
- Check engine and gearbox oil levels before the first start.
- Match tiller width to power: on hard, unworked ground start with a narrower setting, even on 15–18 hp models.
- When hauling, stay within the maker's load figure (1000 kg for the 9xx series) and use a low gear on slopes.
- After the season, clean soil and plant residue off the tines before they start to rust.

What is the difference between the 915K and 915ACC?
Engine and specs are the same (15 hp, 420 cc, 750–1100 mm). The 915K comes with wheel weights and a ridger, the 915ACC as a set with plough, ridger, wheels and wheel weights. The 918K and 918ACC differ the same way.
Which RURIS can pull a trailer?
The maker states a trailer load of up to 1000 kg for the 913ACC, 915K and 918K. The 7000FR ACC4 set includes a trailer, but it is a light 7 hp machine for smaller loads.
Which models have an electric starter?
