Jansen AT-120 flail mower for quad and ATV
The AT-120 is built for mowing meadows, paddocks and overgrown plots without relying on a PTO shaft. It carries its own four-stroke Loncin G420FD engine, with a 420 cm³ displacement and 15 HP output. A standard ball hitch allows it to work behind a quad, ATV, ride-on mower or suitable compact tractor.
The mower covers 115 cm on each pass. It handles tall grass, light scrub and dry, straw-like growth, with twin V-belts transferring power to the flail rotor. The 400 g hammer flails chop the material finely rather than leaving long rows of cut grass. Cutting height is adjusted at the mechanism below the drawbar, making it easier to suit uneven ground and different vegetation.
Electric starting from the supplied 12 V battery is convenient for regular work, while the recoil starter remains available as a backup. The pneumatic wheels can be fitted at the sides or behind the deck. Rear mounting reduces the overall width, which can make access through gates or between trees easier. A heavy rear roller steadies the mower as it follows the ground.
Before ordering
The AT-120 weighs approximately 250 kg, so the towing capacity and hitch of the vehicle should be checked first. It arrives partially assembled in a transport crate and normally requires around two to three hours for final assembly. Engine oil must be added according to the manual before the first start. Fuel-tank capacity is 6.5 litres.
