Jansen BX-62RS for small and medium tractors
The BX-62RS uses tractor power to produce wood chips from orchard pruning, forestry work and overgrown land clearance. With suitable timber it handles branches up to approximately 16.5 cm in diameter. The tractor should provide at least 30 HP, a 540 rpm PTO and three-point linkage from category I. A PTO shaft is supplied with the machine.
Two large hydraulic rollers grip the material and carry it towards the disc. Feed speed can be adjusted, stopped or reversed without pulling a jammed branch from the hopper by hand. Tractor hydraulics should provide approximately 10 l/min or more together with a suitable return line.
The flywheel measures 76 cm in diameter. Four reversible knives work against a counter knife, while the heavy housing helps resist movement under load. The discharge chute stands about 220 cm high and can direct chips into a trailer. The 63.5 × 63.5 cm hopper folds upwards for transport, with gas struts assisting the lift.
Matching the tractor and timber
The chipper weighs approximately 576 kg. Rear lift capacity, linkage category, hydraulic performance and the permitted tractor power should be checked before ordering. The quoted maximum diameter assumes reasonably straight, fresh timber; hard, dry or forked branches require more conservative selection.
ATTENTION: The unit is shipped well packed and partially assembled in a steel box. Given the weight (approx. 576 kg), we recommend that two people take part in unloading and assembly.
