A two-wheel tractor and passive implements in one set
A set with standard equipment is a two-wheel tractor sold together with passive implements, meaning tools the tractor pulls rather than drives: a plough, a ridger, a potato digger, steel wheels and a hitch. As soon as it is assembled you can plough, plant and ridge potatoes, then dig them up in autumn. This section has six WEIMA sets and six RURIS sets, from light 7 HP machines to heavy 16–18 HP ones.
How to choose a set
- Area and soil. For a garden or a plot of a few thousand m², the light 7 HP belt-driven sets are enough (WEIMA WM500, WM900M3, RURIS 7000FR). Heavier soil and larger fields call for gear-driven, heavier machines: WEIMA WM1000N6, WM1100, RURIS 913ACC–918ACC.
- Working width. From 500–800 mm on the WEIMA WM500 to 750–1100 mm on the RURIS 9xx series and even wider on the WEIMA WM1100. A wide tractor covers a field faster; a narrow one fits between rows more easily.
- Petrol or diesel. Diesel (WEIMA WM1100BE-6, RURIS 651KSD) uses less fuel on long jobs; petrol is lighter and starts more easily in winter. See the comparison in two-wheel tractor engine: petrol or diesel.
- PTO for later. The WEIMA WM1000N6 and WM1100 have a power take-off, so you can add a rotary mower or powered tiller later. If you want them straight away, see the sets with active attachments.
- Starting. The WEIMA WM1100BE-6, WM1100FE-6 and RURIS 918ACC have an electric starter. The others use a recoil starter.

What to know about each set
The WEIMA WM500 is a light tractor (60 kg) with a third transport wheel, intended by the manufacturer for plots up to 4,000 m². The WM900M3 has three forward gears, the third one added for work with a rotary mower. The WM1000N6 has an oil-bath multi-plate clutch, a reduction gearbox and a PTO with an on/off switch. The WM1100-6 DIFF series has a half-axle release that makes turning easier, headlights and 5.00-12" pneumatic tyres. WEIMA sets also include an oil funnel, tools, and engine and gear oil.
The RURIS ACC sets come with wheel weights that press the tractor into heavy soil. The 913ACC, 915ACC and 918ACC till to a depth of up to 360 mm and, according to the manufacturer, pull a trailer with up to 1,000 kg of load. The 732ACC and the 9xx series have lights for work at dusk. The RURIS 7000FR ACC4 is the only set that includes a trailer. More models of the brand are in RURIS.
Before the first job
WEIMA tractors arrive without oil in the engine and gearbox, although oil is included in the set. Fill it before starting, following the manual. Steel wheels and the plough replace the rubber wheels, and ploughing depth is set with the hitch. Avoid full load during the first hours. More tips are in the guide how to choose a two-wheel tractor.

Why buy a set instead of the tractor alone?
You get implements matched to that machine, with the right hubs and hitch, so you do not have to hunt for parts of the correct size separately.
Which set for planting and digging potatoes?
All WEIMA sets and the RURIS 7000FR ACC4 and 732ACC include a ridger and a potato digger. The 913ACC set has a plough only, while the 915ACC and 918ACC have a plough and a ridger.
Can I add a mower or powered tiller later?
Yes, if the tractor has a PTO, like the WEIMA WM1000N6 and WM1100. On the belt-driven WM900M3, active tools are driven through the belt drive.
Can a set be customised?
