A two-wheel tractor and active attachments in one set
Active attachments are tools that the tractor not only pulls but also drives: a rotary mower, a powered tiller or a brush sweeper. This section has five WEIMA sets in which the tractor and attachments are already matched, so you do not need to check mounting and drive compatibility yourself.
How to choose an active set
- How the attachment is driven. The WEIMA WM900M3 drives tools through its belt drive. The WM1000N6 and the WM1100-6 series have a power take-off (PTO) with an on/off switch, for heavier work all season.
- What job. A rotary mower cuts grass for hay, weeds and small shrubs up to 10 mm thick. The WMBF-6 powered tiller loosens the top layer of soil and destroys weeds. The sweeper for the WM1000N-6 (600 mm wide) clears snow, leaves and dust from driveways.
- Power and engine. 7 HP petrol on the WM900M3 and WM1000N6, 16 HP petrol on the WM1100FE-6 and 9 HP diesel on the WM1100BE-6. Both WM1100 versions have an electric starter.
- Gears. The WM900M3 has 3 forward gears and 1 reverse, the third added for rotary mower work at 2–4 km/h. The WM1000N6 and WM1100-6 have 4 forward and 2 reverse gears.

Every set also includes tiller tines, an oil funnel, tools and oil. The WM1100-6 sets add 430 mm steel wheels with hubs. Mowers on their own are in rotary mowers.
Before the first job
The tractors arrive without oil in the engine and gearbox. The WMBF-6 powered tiller also needs SAE 80W-90 gear oil (1.6–1.7 l). Before engaging the PTO, make sure nobody is near the tool, and run the mower in a working gear, not a transport gear. If a plough and ridger are all you need, the sets with standard equipment are the cheaper choice.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between active and passive attachments?
Passive tools (plough, ridger) are only pulled. Active tools have their own rotating parts driven by the tractor through the PTO or a belt.
Which set for cutting grass for hay?
All sets with a rotary mower cut dense grass, weeds and shrubs up to 10 mm thick. The WM900M3 is enough for a smaller plot; for a larger area the WM1000N6 or WM1100-6 is better.
Does the diesel WM1100BE-6 have an electric starter?
Yes, both WM1100-6 versions have recoil and electric starting.
