Jansen HS-22A62K is a top-class wood splitter. The advantage of this device is that it can be used both vertically and horizontally! It has an actual splitting pressure of 22 tons and can be powered by either a powerful 2.2 kW electric motor or a powerful 6.5 HP KOLHER gasoline engine.
The splitting pressure of our splitters is measured directly on the splitter, so this information also corresponds to the actual splitting pressure. Many other suppliers quote unrealistic values that are never achieved in practice.
The hydraulic pump is driven by a very durable, high-quality Kohler gasoline engine with a power of 6.5 HP or a powerful electric motor (400V, 2.2 kW). You can freely choose between electric or petrol drive. The kit also includes components required for conversion and operation in petrol or electric mode.
The length of the divided part can be up to 62 cm. The splitter is extremely easy to use. The engine is very easy to start with the recoil starter and starts very well even in sub-zero temperatures. All you need for the electric motor is the appropriate cable and power connection.
The set includes a cross wedge that simply attaches to the splitting wedge. Switching between wedge and cross is done in seconds! With a splitting wedge or a 30 cm long cross wedge, you can also split thicker logs with a larger diameter in one operation. This often does not work with shorter splitting wedges and the log often has to be turned 180 degrees, which is very time-consuming.
The hydraulics are designed in such a way that the splitting wedge can be stopped in any position and can be moved forward or backward. The force is always present and the splitting wedge does not have to be returned to the starting position repeatedly, as is the case with many competing products. Cylinder diameter 115 mm, piston rod 45 mm.
The Jansen HS-22A62K can be easily towed to the job site using the ball hitch. The device is not approved for transport on public roads. Due to its small overall width (approx. 105 cm), the device can also be transported on a regular trailer.
ATTENTION:
The device is delivered well packed and disassembled in a wooden box. Final assembly will take approximately 4-5 hours. The scope of delivery includes an operating manual in German. Assembly is usually easy, but may require two people to do the job as the individual parts are heavy! The components needed for conversion and operation in petrol or electric mode are included in the scope of delivery. The first filling of the device requires approximately 9.5 liters of HLP46 hydraulic oil. The engine requires approximately 1 liter of engine oil. Here we recommend multigrade oil with a classification of 10W40 or 15W40.

Please note: delivery and commissioning
- The machine is delivered disassembled in a wooden crate and must be assembled before first use.
- Allow about 4–5 hours for final assembly.
- Because some parts are heavy, assembly should be done by at least two people.
- An operating manual in German is included.
- Before first use, the hydraulic system must be filled with approx. 9.5 litres of HLP46 hydraulic oil.
- Before first start, fill the engine with approx. 1 litre of engine oil (multigrade 10W40 or 15W40 recommended). Starting the engine without oil will permanently damage it.
- The splitter has no road approval and must not be towed on public roads. Load it onto a trailer for transport.
- On receipt, check that the delivery is complete, matches your order and shows no visible transport damage.
