The Jansen J08 ridger is a walk-behind tractor attachment that cuts furrows and earths up plants. It is useful on farms and in vegetable gardens for growing potatoes and other row crops. Instead of earthing up rows by hand with a hoe, you do it in one pass of the tractor.
Uses
- Cutting furrows for sowing seeds and planting seedlings.
- Covering planting material with soil, for example seed potatoes.
- Inter-row cultivation and earthing up row crops, mainly potatoes.
Benefits
- Adjustable wing opening angle: you can match the furrow width and the amount of soil moved to the crop.
- Fits walk-behind tractors of several brands with the same type of coupling.
