This section covers attachments for the whole season in the field and vegetable garden: from autumn ploughing, through loosening and harrowing before sowing, to ridging potatoes and weeding between rows. For most Grünwelt tools the product pages confirm compatibility with WEIMA WM500 and WM900M-3 tractors and the WM1000N and WM1100 series. You will also find PTO-driven WEIMA rotary tillers, the RURIS reversible plough and the stand-alone WEIMA WMX520 tiller.
How to choose
- Type of work: ploughing needs a plough; loosening and breaking clods a rotavator or rotary tiller; levelling before sowing a harrow; planting and earthing up potatoes a ridger; weeding between rows a flat cultivator.
- Tractor model: check in the table which models each tool fits. Rotavators replace the wheels on the hexagonal shaft: RT24 for a 24 mm shaft (WM500, WM900M-3, WM1000N), RT32 for a 32 mm shaft (WM1100 series).
- Drive: ploughs, ridgers, flat cultivators and the harrow are trailed. The WMBF-6 rotary tiller and WMBF-6TR trencher need a tractor with a rear PTO: WEIMA WM1000N-6 or WM1100-6.
- Working width: a single tool for narrow rows, or a set with the GW-SP01K double hitch (900 mm bar) to work with two tools at once.
- Mounting: ploughs, ridgers and cultivators hang on a screw hitch such as the Grünwelt GW-SB01K with height adjustment. Without it, angle and depth are hard to set.

Before the first job
- WEIMA tillers are delivered without oil. The WMBF-6 needs 1.6–1.7 l of SAE 80W-90 gear oil; the WMX520 about 2.2 l of gear oil and 0.6 l of engine oil.
- Set the plough so that it works square to the ground while one wheel runs in the furrow. Fit steel wheels from wheels and axles for ploughing.
- Run rotavators and tillers in a low gear. On stony ground reduce the depth so as not to overload the gearbox.

Frequently asked questions
Which plough should I choose for a WEIMA tractor?
The Grünwelt GW-PF01 (large) and GW-PF02 (small) fit the WM500, WM900M-3, WM1000N and WM1100. If you want the furrow always turned to one side, choose the RURIS REV1 reversible plough.
What is the difference between a rotavator and a rotary tiller?
The RT24/RT32 rotavator replaces the wheels and the tractor runs on it. The WMBF-6 tiller is driven by the PTO while the tractor stays on its wheels; it fits only the WM1000N-6 and WM1100-6.
Which rotavator fits my tractor?
Measure the shaft: 24 mm takes the RT24 (WM500, WM900M-3, WM1000N), 32 mm the RT32 (WM1100 series).
What is the double hitch for?
It holds two ploughs, ridgers or cultivators side by side, so you work two rows in one pass.
Does the harrow fit any tractor?
The GW-BR02 product page states compatibility with a two-wheel tractor or mini tractor. The working width adjusts from 60 to 120 cm.
