The JANSEN GTS-13 shredder with built-in petrol engine has been specially manufactured to our specifications. This will make your work much easier. Thanks to the powerful motor, you are independent of the power grid and can use the device in remote locations. Unlike most other devices of this type, this shredder complies with the latest European guidelines and safety standards. The shredder has a sufficiently long hopper, in accordance with applicable regulations. Many competing products do not meet this requirement and are consequently not approved for retail sale. The minimum length of the feed hopper is specified in the machine guidelines as 850 mm.
The shredder shreds the wood chips into very small pieces; both branch-like and shrub-like material can be fed into it. The upper, large hopper is suitable for bush-like material and allows cutting branches up to 3-4 cm (depending on the type of wood). The material is fed almost automatically and crushed by 24 floating, specially hardened hammer knives (mounted on 4 rotary axes). The hammer blades have been sharpened on the sides to the shape of the blade. The side basket is suitable for larger branches up to 9 cm in diameter. They are shredded by the cutting unit. The 15 HP engine is easy to start using the starter motor and is equipped with an automatic low oil shut-off system.
The performance has been optimally adjusted to the size and cutting unit of the shredder, which guarantees smooth operation. Many shredders that are not properly designed often jam and stall the engine. This is not the case with our device. Using the included towbar, the device can be easily towed anywhere. ATTENTION:
The device is delivered well packed in a wooden box. Approximately 1-2 hours should be allocated for final assembly. Assembly is simple; the engine will need approximately 1 liter of engine oil. For this purpose, we recommend multigrade oil of class 10W40 or 15W40.
