The Loncin LC168F-2H “Jumping Jack” is a single-cylinder OHV petrol engine (196 cm³, 6.5 HP) with a 20 mm shaft, designed for vibratory rammers, plate compactors, vibrating feet and soil compactors. It starts by recoil and needs no complicated servicing.
Uses and advantages
The engine uses fuel economically. A cotton air filter with a foam pre-filter gives extra protection in tough, dusty conditions. The overhead-valve design (OHV) reduces the risk of cylinder deformation and extends service life.
Components that work with rammers, such as the tank cover, crankshaft, connecting rod, carburettor and starter, have been improved. The improved muffler, low weight (16 kg) and easy starting suit use in compactors.

Check before you buy
Engine power alone does not guarantee a fit. Compare the shaft diameter and length (here: 20 mm), the keyway, the mounting-hole spacing, the direction of rotation and the space available in the machine. Before starting, check the oil level in the crankcase (capacity 0.6 l). If in doubt, send us a photo of the nameplate or the model of your current engine and we will help you choose a replacement.
