Loncin – who is the manufacturer
Loncin is a Chinese group based in Chongqing, founded in 1993. It makes motorcycles, general-purpose engines, generators and farm and industrial power equipment. Loncin engines power many garden, construction and farm machines, including other brands in our range: the Jansen GTS-1500E chipper uses a Loncin G420FD engine, and the Grünwelt GWB750H dumper is available with a Loncin LC170F engine.

How to choose a Loncin engine
Shaft direction. Two-wheel tractors, tillers, pumps, chippers and generators usually have a horizontal shaft engine. Lawn mowers and ride-on mowers use a vertical shaft engine. An engine with the other shaft direction will not fit without modifications.
Shaft diameter and type. Measure the shaft of your old engine. The range includes 19.05 mm, 20 mm, 22.2 mm, 25 mm, 25.4 mm and 36.5 mm shafts. Also check whether the shaft is keyed, tapered or splined, and its length.
Power. Replace the engine with one of the same or similar power. Too weak an engine will not drive the attachment; too strong a one can overload the gearbox.
Extras. If the machine has a battery, a light or an electric starter, choose a 7A charging version. The 2:1 reduction version (H500FD-D) lowers the shaft speed, which some farm machines need. More on engine choice: two-wheel tractor engine: petrol or diesel.

Loncin two-wheel tractors are shipped without engine and gear oil; fill both before the first start. Before fitting a new engine, check its oil level too. Engine parts are in the engine spare parts section. You get a 24-month warranty and 14 days to return goods (return shipping paid by the buyer).
