Jansen MGT-600 – a year-round tool carrier
The Jansen MGT-600 is a two-wheel tractor of the tool-carrier type: implements mount at the front of the machine. This category has two versions, the petrol MGT-600E and the diesel MGT-600D, plus implements for tilling, mowing, sweeping and snow clearing. One machine handles the vegetable garden in spring, the meadow in summer and the driveway in winter.
MGT-600E or MGT-600D
Both versions have a gearbox with 3 forward and 3 reverse gears and quick reversal, speeds of about 1.2–5.8 km/h, a switchable PTO (about 990 rpm), a switchable differential lock, 5.00-10 tyres, electric starter and LED lighting. They differ in engine and weight.
| Version | Engine | Power | Fuel tank | Dry weight | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MGT-600E | petrol Loncin G420F | 15 hp / 11 kW | 6.5 l | approx. 105 kg | more power, lighter; mowing, tilling, snow clearing |
| MGT-600D | diesel Kama KM186FE | 8.6 hp / 6.5 kW | approx. 5.5 l | approx. 128 kg | long working days with lower fuel use; heavier for ploughing |
The petrol version has more power for PTO-driven implements such as the flail mulcher or rotary mower. The diesel is heavier, so it holds the ground better with a plough, and it uses less fuel over long hours.

Delivery and first start
A Jansen tractor arrives in a crate, partly disassembled, and you assemble it yourself; the maker estimates about 2 hours. It ships without engine and gear oil. Before the first start, fill the engine oil (the maker recommends 10W-40 or 15W-40: about 1 l for the MGT-600E, about 1.4 l for the MGT-600D), gear oil as per the manual, and oil in the oil-bath air filter. A common mistake is forgetting the air filter.
We ship by courier across Poland, free from 999 zł; delivery to other EU countries is possible, with cost and time confirmed at order. 24-month warranty and 14 days for returns. Compare other brands under two-wheel tractors and in the buying guide.
Frequently asked questions
Does the MGT-600 have a differential lock?
Yes, both versions have a switchable lock. Engaged, it helps when traction is poor; disengaged, it makes turning easier.
Does the tractor arrive assembled and filled with oil?
No. It comes in a crate for self-assembly, and before the first start you must fill oil in the engine, gearbox and air filter.
Do Jansen implements fit other brands?
The maker lists compatibility with Cedrus, BCS, Grillo and Pasquali when the machine has the same coupling type. The 100 cm snow blower is described for the MGT-600E and similar models.
What should I use to plough heavy soil?
The PTO-driven J07 rotary plough, which needs no extra wheel weight. With the J09 or J10 single-furrow plough, add steel wheels or J28 wheel weights.
How does the J13 mulcher differ from the J14 rotary mower?
The mulcher (60 cm) shreds grass and weeds and leaves them in place. The rotary mower (100 cm) cuts a wider strip at 5–13 cm.
