The Loncin G270F is an air-cooled single-cylinder, four-stroke OHV petrol engine with 270 cm³ and a maximum of 9 HP. It has a horizontal 25 mm shaft with keyway and recoil start, so it works as a replacement engine in many garden and farm machines.
Uses and advantages
The engine is often used as a replacement in tillers, mowers, single-axle tractors, plate compactors, mini dumpers, water pumps and generators. It meets the Euro 5 standard, and specific fuel consumption is max. 374 g/kWh.
It is described as stable, powerful and long-lived, with low noise. A filter cleans the intake air. The fuel tank holds 6 l and the engine weighs 25 kg.

Check before you buy
Engine power alone does not guarantee a fit. Compare the shaft diameter and length (here: 25 mm), the keyway, the mounting-hole spacing, the direction of rotation and the space available in the machine. Before starting, check the oil level in the crankcase (capacity 0.95 l). If in doubt, send us a photo of the nameplate or the model of your current engine and we will help you choose a replacement.
