A suspension vibration stand lets you track down knocks and squeaks in the suspension and chassis without a test drive. Platforms under the wheels generate controlled vibration and vertical loads, while the technician watches and listens to the suspension parts working under load. This section offers the SKIF VibroTest 5000 for workshops and vehicle inspection stations.
What the VibroTest 5000 does
- simulates different road conditions and driving modes,
- simulates vertical wheel loads as well as load transfer and wheel unloading,
- helps locate unusual noises by sight and sound, especially knocks and squeaks that cannot be heard on a stationary car.
The set consists of two vibration tables and two support modules.
What to check before buying
- Power supply. 5.5 kW drive, AC 380 V or 220 V. Check your workshop's electrical installation.
- Floor. According to the manual, the stand must sit on a prepared, stable concrete floor. Installation on asphalt or cracked concrete is not allowed.
- Load. Maximum load for the whole system is 3500 kg and must not be exceeded.
- Space and handling. The vibration module weighs 263 kg and the support module 93 kg. Plan unloading and positioning.
